- What is a transparent soap (framed soap)?
- Transparent soaps (framed soaps) are handmade by craftsmen. As they are dried using long time, it takes very long time (60-70 days) to manufacture them but do not dissolve so much so that they last longer. Sugar and glycerin are used to make the soaps transparent and these work as moisturizers, too. Good fats are used so that they are gentle to the skins, and often used for facial cleansers and can be used for whole body as well. They are gentle to the environment, as they break down easily in the waste water discharged from homes.
- How long does it take to manufacture them?
- For soaps, it takes about 90 days (about 3 months) from the orders, and about 60 days (about 2 months) for other products. As it changes somewhat depending on the seasons and temperature, we will discuss with you when you order.
- What are the production lots?
- The least lot size is 3,000 for soaps (100g). As it depends on products and weights, please contact us directly for details.
- What kinds of shapes are available?
- There are all kinds of shapes such as oval, round and rectangle. Also, there are various weights such as 5g or 10g products fit for samples to regular 80g, 100g, 135g and larger ones. Some of the shapes may be not available depending on the weights, but please let us know the shape and weights you would like to order.
- Can you make products other than soaps?
- We manufacture OEM products other than soaps which include basic skin care products such as lotion and emulsion, hair care products such as shampoo, conditioner, hair growth tonic, and body care products such as bath agents, body soap, and massage oils. As we use leading-edge emulsion machine, we are able to make products which permeate deeper into stratum corneum than before.
- What kind of soap bases are there?
- There are 3 main types:
- · Mild type: for fragile skins (such as atopic skin)
- · Potassic type: good foaming
- · FA type: standard base
- Can you make soaps with local specialty goods?
- If those are allowed to use as ingredients for cosmetics, we are able to make soaps with such components.
- Can you make samples at the developing stage?
- As we are able to make samples in our laboratory, please let us know what kind of products you would like to have.
