An Ingredient of Soaps “Fat”

The main ingredient of soaps is “fat”.
The degree of refining is very high and eatable fats are used.
Soaps are very delicate.
Every merit and demerit of the chosen fats is directly seen on the soaps.
In order to develop and manufacture soaps with merits, we draw upon old documents.
Good oils such as camellia and olive oils which have been love by people from olden days are used for the soaps.

· Olive Oil
Oil derived by expressing fruits of olives. They are mainly composed of oleic acid which is not easily oxidized and used of an ingredient of good soaps.
· Grape Seed oil
It is pale yellow to yellow clear oily liquid expressed from grape seed and then refined. As it is rich in tocopherol (Vitamin E), it improves blood flow, used as antioxidant, and effective as vasodilator for peripheral nerves or skin anti-aging.
· Coconut Oil
Oil derived by expressing coconut seeds and has a slight inherent smell. It is white to light yellow solid during winter, and colorless to light yellow liquid during summer. It is not easily oxidized but tends to emit odor and deteriorates on hydrolysis.
· Palm Oil
Colorless to reddish yellow liquid to solid fat obtained by expression of oil palm (elaeis) and has a slight odor. The foam stays longer than coconut oil and milder to the skin.
